that nose warmer still cah-RACKS me up! very effective too. thanks again for our WONDERFUL and gorgeous package of Christmas love. We love you! Everything is being enjoyed immensely. Books being read. Actually, Leigh and I really enjoyed the Fancy Nancy book too. Those pancakes were delicious! The girls never knew they were eating sweet potatoes. Sweet.
OMGosh! I've got to tell you this story! When I was a little girl learning how to crochet, I made a nose warmer too! Nanna thought it was so funny that she made a mustache and attached it. She would go around the house during parties wearing it saying, "My favorite yarn arttist created it!"
Not sure I should have told you all that. hehe! Thanks for bringing back a wonderful memory of Nanna.
Ha! That is hilarious, rubberduckiemom. I'd love to see your version, especially with the mustache. Your grandmother sounds like quite a character! Great story.
Which, of course you should have told me! I learned to crochet from my grandmother, too (Viola). Thanks for sharing.
Hi, my name is Robyn. This little space, where I document my adventures in crafting and homemaking, is dedicated to my grandmothers, Viola and Pearl, whose craftiness was legendary. Welcome!
